On my way out to “the island” yesterday, I spotted this awesome new sign over The Brooklyn Kitchen that reads EAT REAL FOOD. A good message to those traveling on the BQE tempted by McDonald’s down the road. Oh pink slime!

Great idea. we must fight back to protect ourselves from all this fast food nonsense. Slow food is where its at and real food is even better.
Hey there – do you happen to know anything about the story/author behind this sign?
Thanks!
Inside Brooklyn Kitchen, you’ll find The Meat Hook, probably the best butcher in Brooklyn. They also sell eggs, produce and some cheese. All of which is real, non-over-processed food, hence the sign.
